Rose Savidge was born and raised in the English countryside. Moving to London to study at The London Institute's Chelsea College of Art and Design, she specialised in Knitted Textiles, graduating in 2002. Her first in-house knitwear design role immediately followed where Rose worked with multiple UK High Street retailers and soon found she had lost her heart to the fast paced, ever-changing, adrenaline fuelled world of fashion.
With over ten years experience including heading up and overseeing knitwear, jersey and swimwear departments for various well known national brands and companies, Rose travels extensively worldwide researching and sourcing inspiration for her designs. Rose has an unending source of ideas and her travels also bring her face to face with factories in Europe, Hong Kong, China and Bangladesh where she uses her technical expertise and drawings to bring her creative designs to life.
In 2010 Rose took the successful decision to become a Freelancer and Consultant. She is currently enjoying working with a range of clients offering them a wealth of industry and technical knowledge in all areas of her field such as trend, market place and fashion forecasting on both long and short term projects.
